Commercial Truck Driving Certificate
Program Purpose Statement
The purpose of the truck driving program is to provide educational opportunities to individuals which will enable them to obtain the knowledge, skills,and attitudes necessary to succeed in the field of commercial truck driving.
Program Courses
CTDL 1010 - Fundamentals of Commercial Driving
CTDL 1020 - Combination Vehicle Basic Operations and Range Work
CTDL 1030 - Commercial Vehicle Advanced Operations
Compliance
(1) Students will be subject to DOT 49 CFR Part 40 and Part 382 of the Federal mandated Drug and Alcohol testing Guidelines
(2) EZDOT LLC will provide onsite drug and alcohol pre-employment and ALL DOT mandated Drug and Alcohol Testing. NO OTHER PRE-EMPLOYMENT or DOT mandated Drug or Alcohol tests or results will be accepted unless prior authorization from EZDOT LLC is obtained.
(3) Secure a Commercial Driving License Learner’s Permit from the Department of Drivers Services of your state of residence
(4) Obtain a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) from the Department of Drivers Services from your state of residence indicating no DUI within the last seven years and not more than four violation points within the last three years. The MVR must be dated within 30 days of class begin date
(5) If you have previously worked in a DOT Safety Sensitive Position, you WILL be required to fill out admission form New Hire/Transfer/Previous Employer Records Check documentation by EZDOT LLC
NOTE: Drug screen reports (results) will follow all the Federal/State, School and EZDOT LLC policy guidelines on reporting and record retention.
