Open House is a great way to gather information about the wide variety of resources available to students at Ogeechee Technical College. There will be many activities taking place during Open House. You’ll get information you need about our academic programs, student life, and admissions. You may take a campus tour, interact with program faculty, and attend information sessions designed to help you easily transition to Ogeechee Tech! Parents are welcome too!

There is no formal schedule to the afternoon. However, to make the most of your time, we recommend the following:

• Plan to arrive early

• Learn about the enrollment process and financial aid opportunities at Ogeechee Tech by attending an Admissions/Financial Aid Information Session

• Visit the program area you are interested in and meet the faculty

• Check out information tables

• Get your Ogeechee Tech wear at the Bookstore

• Grab a bite to eat at Cattails Café!

• Take a tour of the library

• Take a selfie at our #iamotc photo station

Common Questions:

Do I need to register?
While registration is not required, we would like to know that you are coming. Click here to register for Open House.

Do I have to stay the entire time?
There is no set program for the Open House. Therefore, it is not necessary to stay for the duration of the event. We recommend glancing at the schedule and list of activities associated with Open House and planning your day accordingly.

Where does the campus tour start?
There are no formal campus tours offered during Open House as the entire campus will be open for you to explore. Open House students and staff will be available throughout campus to assist you in your exploration. Look for friendly faces wearing red I AM OTC Shirts.

What should I wear?
Open House includes indoor and outdoor activities throughout campus. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and walking shoes.

Where can I park?
Parking is open to all. There are no designated parking areas during the Open House.

I am planning to attend the transfer information session. Will I be able to have my transcripts reviewed/evaluated?
We will not be able to review or evaluate transcripts for potential credit and/or admissibility at the Open House. However, we encourage turning in transcripts with your application to be evaluated at a later date.

I am arriving from out of town and need to make hotel reservations. Can you recommend hotels in the area?
We have many options for overnight accommodations. Check out www.visitstatesboroga.com for information on hotels, restaurants, and activities in Statesboro, GA.
