Adjunct Faculty Positions

Ogeechee Technical College is always interested in seeking qualified candidates for adjunct faculty teaching positions. These positions could be for day classes, evening classes, or both.

Qualifications for teaching include a several years of full-time experience in the field in which they are to teach and educational background specific to the courses/programs being considered. Formal teaching certification is not required. Teaching positions in some Associate Degree programs require a Master's Degree in the field or a Master's Degree with at least 18 semester hours in the subject to be taught.

Applicants for positions other than Associate Degree programs must hold a baccalaureate degree from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university in the teaching discipline or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with a master's degree. Compensation is commensurate with academic preparation and experience.

Application Procedure

When submitting a resume for adjunct work, a cover letter must be included that clearly indicates the area of adjunct work that the applicant is interested in. Applicants must submit a separate cover letter and resume for each position/teaching area they would like to be considered for should an opening develop.

If you are interested in joining our instructional staff as an adjunct instructor, submit an OTC application, cover letter, resume, three work-related references, and official college transcripts to the following:
