Ogeechee Technical College

As you take this tour of our campus, you will see that there is much more to OTC than the iconic arch of the Joseph E. Kennedy Building.

Established in 1986, Ogeechee Technical College was once thought to have all the facilities it would ever need in the Kennedy Building. However, that initial 75,000 square feet has grown to over 300,000, and the College is still growing. The Kennedy Building has been renovated through the years, and is currently in the midst of a facelift.

Numerous buildings now grace the campus of OTC in Statesboro, with additional facilities in Evans and Screven Counties. The College’s Health Science-South Building holds a variety of health related programs — such as Dental Assisting, Paramedicine Technology, Medical Assisting, and Pharmacy Technology. The newer Health Science-North Building also houses health related programs, such as Radiologic Technology, Sonography, Echocardiography, Opticianry, and Neuromuscular Massage Therapy.

Across from the Health Science-North Building is our Occupational Studies Building, home to an eclectic grouping of programs, such as Culinary Arts, Cosmetology, Veterinary Technology, and Hotel/Restaurant/Tourism Management.

Other facilities on the main campus include the Joseph E. Kennedy Annex, the Assessment Center, and a Student Pavilion, which allows outdoor events and instruction overlooking the College pond.

A more recent addition to the campus is the Natural Resources Building, which opened its doors in January of 2015. Some academic programs that occupy this building include Agribusiness, Fish & Wildlife Management, and Geographic Information Systems. Additionally, the College’s Adult Education and Continuing Education programs are found in the building. The Natural Resources Building, a unique architectural structure for the area, is a state of the art, multipurpose facility that is available for corporate retreats, seminars, or social functions.

While the Joseph E. Kennedy Building met the initial needs of OTC, growth, success, and tremendous community support have resulted in the beautiful campus you see today. Classrooms, labs, and support services, are here to serve our students, and to help us meet the workforce needs of this area. However, the spirit of learning, excitement of our students, and knowledgeable faculty and staff really make the buildings come to life.

Ride through campus sometime, and feel free to stop and ask for a tour—we love visitors!
