The scholarships are sponsored by the Auxiliary of East Georgia Regional Medical Center. One scholarship will be awarded to a student in of the following programs who is a full-time student:

The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher and be enrolled spring 2019 semester. TWO (2) $1,000.00 full-year scholarship will be awarded and paid in one payment in the spring .

 

General Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is available to any student enrolled or accepted in a diploma or degree program at OTC. The student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or better and be enrolled full time. Six (6) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded and paid in one payment in the spring semester.


Best Friends Veterinary Technology Scholarship

This scholarship is sponsored by Best Friends Animal Hospital and is available to any student enrolled or accepted in the Veterinary Technology degree program at OTC. The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher and be enrolled full time. One (1) $500 scholarship will be awarded and paid in two equal installments of $250 for the Fall and Spring semesters.


Brannen Scholarship

This scholarship is sponsored by George K. Brannen and is available to male students enrolled or accepted in practical nursing or other closely related Health Care Science programs with a diploma or degree at OTC. The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and be enrolled full time. One (1) $1000 scholarship will be awarded and paid in two equal installments of $500 for the Fall and Spring semesters.


Charlie Joe Mathews Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is available to any student enrolled or accepted in a degree or diploma program at OTC. The student must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be enrolled full time. Four (4) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded and paid in two equal installments of $500 for the Fall and Spring semesters.


David Russell Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is available to any student enrolled or accepted in a diploma or degree program at OTC. The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher and be enrolled full time. Two (2) $500 scholarships will be awarded and paid in two equal installments of $250 for the Fall and Spring semesters.


Foundation Certificate Scholarship

This scholarship is available to any student enrolled or accepted in a certificate program at OTC. The student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or better and be enrolled full time. Five (5) $500 scholarships will be awarded and paid in one installment of $500 for the Fall semesters.


Hospital Authority of Bulloch County Health Science Scholarship

This scholarship is sponsored by the Hospital Authority of Bulloch County and is available to any student enrolled or accepted in the Health Science diploma or degree program at OTC. The student must be a resident of Bulloch County, maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better, and be enrolled full time. Six (6) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded and paid in two equal installments of $500 for the Fall and Spring semesters.

Kiwanis Club of Statesboro Scholarship

This scholarship is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Statesboro and is available to any student enrolled or accepted in a diploma or degree program at OTC. The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better and be enrolled full time. One (1) $500 scholarship will be awarded and paid in two equal installments of $250 for the Fall and Spring semesters.


Non-Traditional Scholarship

This scholarship is available to any student enrolled or accepted in a diploma or degree program at OTC and meets the TCSG non-traditional criteria (The student is enrolled in a program for which the field of work is comprised of less than 25 percent of his/her gender.) The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or better and be enrolled full time. Two (2) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded and paid in two equal installments of $500 for the Fall and Spring semesters.


Past President Scholarship

This scholarship is available to any student enrolled or accepted in a diploma or degree program of study at OTC. The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and be enrolled full time. Two (2) $500 scholarships will be awarded and paid in two equal installments of $250 for the Fall and Spring semesters.


Planters EMC Operation Round Up

This scholarship is sponsored by Planters EMC Operation Round Up and is available to any student enrolled in a diploma or degree program at OTC. The student must be a resident of Screven County, maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or better, and be enrolled full time. Two (2) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded and paid in two equal installments of $500 for the Fall and Spring semesters.


Philip Stewart Memorial Culinary Arts Scholarship

This scholarship is available to any student enrolled in the Culinary Arts diploma or degree program at OTC. The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and be enrolled full time. One (1) $500 scholarship will be awarded in full for the Fall semester.


Robert T. Cox Agribusiness Scholarship

This scholarship is available to any student enrolled or accepted in the Agribusiness diploma or degree program at OTC. The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and be enrolled full time. One (1) $500 scholarship will be awarded and paid in two equal installments of $250 for the Fall and Spring semesters.


Rotary Club of Downtown Statesboro Scholarship

This scholarship is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Downtown Statesboro and is available to any student enrolled in a diploma or degree program at OTC. The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better and be enrolled full time. One (1) $1,000 scholarship will be awarded and in two equal installments of $500 for the Fall and Spring semesters.


Statesboro Rotary Club Scholarship 

This scholarship is sponsored by the Statesboro Rotary Club and is available to any student enrolled in a diploma or degree program at OTC. The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better and be enrolled full time. One (1) $1,000 scholarship will be awarded and in two equal installments of $500 for the Fall and Spring semesters.


Sonic Drive-In Culinary Arts Scholarship 

This scholarship is available to any student enrolled in the Culinary Arts diploma or degree program at OTC. The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher and be enrolled full time. One (1) $500 scholarship will be awarded in full for the Fall semester.

OTHER AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS


Nick Lane Memorial Scholarship
Sponsored by Peach State Heating and Air, this scholarship is a $500 partial scholarship. It is available to any student enrolled in the heating and air program and will be paid Spring semester 2019.
The spring deadline is December 1, 2018. This scholarship is also for Fall/Spring 2019-2020. The deadline is June 30, 2019. Send the completed application to peachstateac@gmail.com along with supporting documents required. Click here to download the application.

Altrusa Club of Statesboro Scholarship
The Altrusa Club of Statesboro Scholarship will provide assistance to a female student who demonstrates maturity, a desire to succeed in the workplace, and has financial need. The main criteria for award of the scholarship will be how well the candidate meets the requirements specified within these materials. View application process here.

Early Childhood Scholarships
This scholarship is funded by Bright from the Start – Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning and available to any student enrolled in the Early Childhood program at OTC. In addition the student must meet the following eligibility requirements: Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better; is currently employed in the childcare field; and have applied for the HOPE or PELL Grant. Funeral Service Scholarships
These scholarships are offered through the various funeral service professional associations and are available to any student enrolled in the funeral service program at OTC and who meet the following eligibility criteria: GPA of 3.0 or better; is affiliated with the professional association; and is nearing graduation. Georgia Veterinary Medical Association Scholarship
This scholarship is funded by the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association and is available to any student enrolled or accepted in the Veterinary Technology AAT program at OTC. In addition the student must meet the following eligibility requirements: have completed VET 213 with a grade of C or better, maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and be enrolled full time. Two (2) $250 scholarships are available for the Fall quarter. Applications are available through the Veterinary Technology Program.

Professional Women of Statesboro Scholarship
This scholarship is funded by the Professional Women of Statesboro Association and is available to any female student enrolling or enrolled in a program of study at OTC. In addition the student must meet the following eligibility requirements: maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and is a resident of Bulloch County. Scholarship application is available the first of April each year.

2019 STEM Scholarship
RevPart is proud to support the next generation of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) students by providing a scholarship of $1,000 to a student demonstrating excellent promise in their area of study. As an innovator in the tech industry, we understand the importance of the STEM fields and wish to advocate for the industry's future leaders by assisting their efforts towards a degree.

Any student majoring in a STEM field that is attending an accredited college may apply. The 2019-Spring scholarship winner will be awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student to be used towards their degree. RevPart will also be offering a book scholarship for the first and second runner-up. Visit the RevPart website for this scholarship application.

Hired Scholarship
Hired is offering a $5,000 scholarship to undergraduate students registered at an accredited two or four-year college or university in the United States. There is no major, minor or GPA requirement to be eligible to apply for this scholarship. To apply, students are required to submit an essay on one of the approved topics. The submission deadline is 12:00 a.m. PST on July 11th, 2019 for the fall semester. The next deadline will be at 12:00 a.m. PST on November 15, 2019, for the following spring semester. 

Jet Future Business Leaders Scholarship 
Must be currently attending or planning to attend during the Spring 2020 academic semester. Applicant must write and upload an essay. The essay needs to be between 250 and 500 words in length, addressing the prompt on the application site. The application and essay must be submitted prior to January 31, 2020. Applicant must apply online at https://jetsurety.com/scholarship/
