Mathews has been named Vice-President for Institutional Advancement, and Eyvonne C. With a history in governmental accounting prior to joining Ogeechee Tech, Hart has a wealth of experience in monitoring and administering fiscal operations within a governmental organization. “Eyvonne is uniquely qualified to manage our fiscal affairs at Ogeechee Tech.  She has a distinct ability to protect the financial interests of our College and the taxpayers of Georgia,” stated Cartee.  “I am honored to receive the vote of confidence from our administration that this appointment represents.  I pledge my best efforts in continuing to operate this College in a fiscally sound manner,” Hart commented.

Beth Mathews joined Ogeechee Tech in early 2007 as Executive Director for Institutional Advancement following several years coordinating fundraising at Georgia Southern University.  Mathews’ responsibilities at Ogeechee Tech include managing the College’s annual fundraising campaign iGot (I gave to Ogeechee Tech), and generation and distribution of scholarships for OTC students, funds for which are garnered through the Ogeechee Tech Foundation’s fundraising efforts.  “Beth has the background and experience to maximize our fundraising efforts here at Ogeechee Tech.  She is very mindful of utilizing as many of our donated dollars for direct benefit to students as possible.  She is an excellent steward of the Foundation’s funds,” said Cartee.  “Providing support for students and making their goal of an education financially attainable is a primary focus, and I am excited to be in the position to help make that happen,” stated Mathews.  “Ogeechee Tech is such an important part of the fabric of the local communities we serve, and allowing those in our service area to give back through our Foundation is an important aspect of what we do,” Mathews stated.

“Eyvonne and Beth are valuable members of our team at Ogeechee Tech, and we are fortunate to have them here,” Cartee concluded.  For more information on Ogeechee Technical College, visit www.ogeecheetech.edu.
