Bulloch Academy Kindergarten

Chef Tony Pisacano talks to the Bulloch Academy Kindergarten class.

The Ogeechee Technical College Culinary Arts program recently hosted the Kindergarten class from Bulloch Academy.  Chef Tony Pisacano spoke to the students about healthy eating habits and how to make better snack choices.  Along with Chef Bryan Richard, Chef Pisacano let the students try homemade granola.  Students then enjoyed making butterflies out of celery sticks, peanut butter, pretzels, and raisins.  After the lesson on healthy snacks, the students toured the Cosmetology program and were able to watch the Cosmetology students in action.  Next, the class toured the Ogeechee Tech Veterinary Technology classrooms and kennels.  The students were able to see all the animals, look at x-rays, and go inside the surgical suite.  The children had many questions, for which the Veterinary Technology senior students willingly provided answers.
