Ogeechee Tech Radiologic Technology Programs Reaccredited The Radiologic Technology program at Ogeechee Technical College recently received confirmation of reaccreditation of the program by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). According to information provided by H. Martin Northup, M.D., FACR, Chair of JRCERT, the organization is “the only agency recognized by the U. S. Department of Education for the accreditation of educational programs in radiography, radiation therapy, magnetic resonance, and medical dosimetry.” Ogeechee Tech’s Radiologic Technology program received the maximum term of reaccreditation possible, which is eight years. “We are very happy that JRCERT validated the hard work done by our program instructors and others in assuring our Rad Tech program continues to meet national standards,” stated Dr. Dawn Cartee, President of Ogeechee Tech. “Our graduates have the assurance that their training meets the highest standards available for their area of study. The employers who hire our graduates can likewise be confident that those who will be performing procedures on their patients are well qualified,” concluded Cartee.
