Medical Assisting Students and Instructors Volunteer at Library

Two Medical Assisting classes from Ogeechee Technical College, along with Instructors Anne Gailey, Marilyn Turner, and Michelle McCranie, participated in the Statesboro Regional Library’s Reading is FUNdamental (RIF) distribution recently.  Children in Pre K – 2nd grade from all Bulloch County Schools visited the library to see a puppet show and receive their third free book of the annual RIF distribution. (The first two distributions are done at the school.)  The Library encourages community volunteers to come read for the children so that every child has their book read to them before they go home.
