A student at the OTC Screven Adult
Education Center works to plant a tree in conjunction with Keep Screven Beautiful.

Members of Keep Screven Beautiful (KSB) visited the Ogeechee Technical College (OTC) Screven Adult Education Center in Sylvania on February 26 to plant trees in recognition of Arbor Day. Georgia's Arbor Day was February 15. The trees were donated by the Georgia Forestry Commission and Keep Screven Beautiful. After a brief discussion concerning the history of Arbor Day and the importance of trees in our environment, KSB members along with adult education students and OTC staff planted the trees. |
