Ogeechee Tech Celebrates
Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A

The Ogeechee Tech Foundation, Inc. celebrated Ogeechee Tech Spirit Night that the Statesboro Chick-fil-A recently in preparation for the 2008 iGot (I Gave to Ogeechee Tech) fundraising campaign.  Employees of the College, including a number of members of the Executive Council, as well as Foundation Executive Board members, assisted diners by carrying trays, refilling drinks, and clearing tables for tips which will support the Foundation’s campaign.  In addition, the Chick-fil-A restaurant owners contributed a percentage of the evening’s sales to the Foundation.

“This is a great way to increase awareness about our College and our Foundation campaign, as well as raising some money to help get our 2008 campaign off to a good start,” stated Beth Mathews, Vice-President for Institutional Advancement at Ogeechee Tech.  “This was a fun event that also benefited our Foundation.  We are very appreciative of Chick-fil-A for offering this opportunity to raise funds while spreading the news about all that Ogeechee Tech does to support students and our community,” Mathews concluded.
