Ogeechee Tech Offers
Evening Cosmetology Classes

Ogeechee Technical College is now offering Cosmetology program classes in the evening.  With classes scheduled Monday through Thursday from 3pm until 10pm, students have a schedule option other than the College’s traditional day classes for Cosmetology.  Many students are able to work full-time day jobs while taking the evening classes.  Program classes may be completed in four quarters for evening students.

Shauna Swain is the instructor for the evening program classes.  Swain joins Djaras Holloway and Jeff Shaver who teach the day Cosmetology program classes.  “Our evening students have been very enthusiastic.  They are especially grateful to be able to work during the day and come to classes later in the day,” Swain stated.  Whether day or evening students, those in the Cosmetology program are exposed to a comprehensive curriculum covering hair, skin, and nails.  “Students have plenty of classroom and hands-on training here.  We want them to be immediately employable when they graduate,” stated Shaver.  For more information on Ogeechee Tech’s Cosmetology program, visit www.ogeecheetech.edu, or call (912) 681-5500 or (800) 646-1316.
