Ogeechee Tech Students Assist at Soup Kitchen

Students from the Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Echocardiology programs at Ogeechee Technical College assisted at the community Soup Kitchen at Statesboro First United Methodist Church on November 3. The students helped serve over 200 meals, both in-house and delivered. Ogeechee Tech students routinely do civic learning projects in which they not only support local initiatives, but learn about a variety of services provided to those in need. Pictured, the students took a break long enough to have their photograph taken.
