Ogeechee Tech’s Health Science Building-North opens
Monday, 14 January 2013 09:57
Spring semester 2013 at Ogeechee Technical College marked the first classes in the College’s new Health Science Building-North. Complementing the Health Science Building-South, the building houses several health-related programs, a new biology lab, and a state of the art, tiered-seating demonstration hall. Programs located in the new building include Radiologic Technology, Sonography, Echocardiography, Radiology PACS, and Opticianry.
Moving programs to the Health Science Building-North allowed for relocation and expansion of other program areas in several other buildings on campus. The 26,000 square-feet building is located in the center of campus and has a courtyard area sure to be a popular gathering area for students.
An official ribbon-cutting and open-house will be held in the near future, to officially celebrate the opening of the new facility. The event will be open to the public.
