Soup Kitchen benefactor of Ogeechee Tech assistance

Ogeechee Technical College employees, students, and family members staffed the weekly soup kitchen on January 19 at the Statesboro First United Methodiast Church. The group served 411 meals, 150 of which were delivered to shut-ins. The soup kitchen weekly serves those who face challenges in having enough food to eat. Ogeechee Tech students and employees routinely participate in service-learning projects to give back to the community. The first picture shows much of the group who assisted at the soup kitchen, while the second photo shows some of the group at work preparing plates to be served.
