New Student Orientation
Congratulations on your decision to let Ogeechee Technical College prepare you for a successful career!

Now that you are accepted, it's time to complete orientation. Ogeechee Technical College’s New Student Orientation is comprised of two parts. The first part is delivered online. Students have two options for completing the online orientation. They may complete it before coming to campus for their advisement appointment or Registration Day and bring proof of completion with them to campus, or they may complete the orientation on campus in our Student Resource Center located in room 172 of the Joseph E. Kennedy building. Staff assistance will be available on registration days.

You must have received
your acceptance letter before you may participate in the online
orientation. Your Student Identification number will be included in your
acceptance packet. You will need your ID number in order to complete
the online orientation. |
There will be a final assessment at the end of the online orientation. You must pass the final assessment with a score of 80% or higher. You may take the assessment again if you did not pass it the first time. Please note that you will need to be connected to a working printer when you take the assessment. You will only have one opportunity to print the results after passing the assessment.
After you have passed the New Student Orientation assessment, you will be required to attend the on-campus portion of orientation, which is called “Meet Your Campus.” We will introduce you to services offered on our campus that will help you to be a successful student.
“Meet Your Campus” will be held on Monday, December 12 at 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. You will only be required to attend one of the “Meet Your Campus” sessions.
