Pharmacy Technology Diploma
Program Purpose Statement
The purpose of the Pharmacy Technology program is to provide educational opportunities to individuals that will enable them to obtain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to succeed in the pharmacy field. The Pharmacy Technology Program prepares students to take the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination.
Program Goals
- Provide educational programs and courses that serve the intellectual and career needs of individuals and the needs of business and industry.
- Provide infrastructure and technology to support teaching, learning, and administrative functions.
- Provide services and resources to promote student success.
- Provide training programs and services to promote personal growth and economic development of business and industry.
- Maintain a research-based system of planning, assessment, and budgeting to achieve expected outcomes and demonstrate accountability.
- Advance the College through developing partnerships and securing resources.
