Refunds


It is the policy of OTC to refund 100% tuition and refundable fees for students withdrawing from a course by the end of the third day of the term and no shows. After the third day of the term, a student will not receive a tuition refund. Students receiving Title IV funds (PELL, FSEOG) may or may not receive a Title IV refund. Refunds for Title IV recipients are calculated as follows:

Number of Days Completed divided by Number of Days in Quarter = Percentage of Title IV Aid Earned

*100% if greater than 60%

If funds are remaining after tuition and fees are deducted from Earned Title IV Funds, then a refund for the remainder will be issued by the Business Office prior to the end of the term. Samples of this policy are available upon request from the Financial Aid Office.
