Welcome

The Career Placement Office provides assistance to students, alumni and employers.  Our services span a broad range of services to include job placement assistance, posting of employer job ads, career fairs, tours, career counseling, interviewing and resume assistance in addition to many other career related services.


Students and alumni can obtain employment leads through our online job listings.  We provide interview and resume assistance when needed.  Students and alumni are also encouraged to attend career fairs and other employment opportunities offered on campus.

Employers are provided the opportunity to post job listings and attend career fairs at no cost.  This gives employers access to thousands of students and graduates that have obtained training through our many programs of study at Ogeechee Technical College.  Employers are also offered an opportunity to attend career fairs and to develop individualized programs to assist in filling employment needs.

Our Services

Job Leads—Jobs posted by employers.

Resume Assistance—Those seeking assistance can setup an appointment to have their current resume reviewed.

Career Fairs—OTC currently has one large career fair each year usually around the third week in April on a Wednesday.

Program Placement Rates—Statistical data on job placement on all programs of study having graduates from OTC.

Job Outlook—Information on the future outlook of the job market by program.

Career Counseling—Assist students in finding the right career to meet their goals.

Computers and Printers—State of the art computers and laser printers to put together professional resumes, cover letters, references and other documents needed for your job search.

Books—Books providing sample resumes, cover letters and references.
