Addiction Resource Scholarship Essay Contest

AddictionResource.net is proud to announce thir annually recurring $1,000 scholarship essay contest to help support students reach their goals and to give back to the community at large. First place contest winners will earn a $1,000 scholarship, and runner-up will earn a $250 scholarship. Applicants should meet the following requirements to be eligible;  a student pursuing a college or university degree (associate, bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate) or a trade certification in a technical college in the United States,  enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution, enrolled for the semester in which the scholarship will be awarded, and 18 years or older at the time of entry. ADHDAdvisor.org's Quarterly Mental Health Scholarship for Women

This quarterly scholarship is funded by ADHDAdvisor.org and is looking to award $1,000 to female students who are studying a STEM major, and is open to all high school senior, undergraduate, and graduate students. "Be Bold" No Essay Scholarship

Bold.org is funding an annual recurring scholarship, gifting $25,000 to the applicant with the boldest profile. This is a non-essay scholarship whose award is based off the individual who shows characteristics such as being earnest, determined, and moving. This scholarship is open to all high school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students who actively use online platforms, tools, and resources for learning and knowledge application. 2024 Application deadline is May 24. CAPS Student Parent Priority Group Childcare Scholarship

Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS) is providing child care scholarships to help low-income families pay for child care while the parent(s) work, attend school or training or participate in work related activities. To be eligible, family must belong to one of the Georgia's identified priority groups, meet income requirements, and participate in a state-approved activity. CMAA South Atlantic Chapter Scholarship Foundation

The Foundation awards grants to students in technical college or trade school certificate or diploma programs studying Air Conditioning Technology, Building and Facilities Maintenance, Cabinetry, Carpentry, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Drafting/GIS, Electrical Construction and Maintenance, Electronics and Telecommunications, Environmental Engineering Technology, Industrial Systems Technology, Instrumentation Technology, Machine Tool Technology, Masonry, Plumbing, or Welding. CNA Workforce Enhancement Stipend Program

This scholarship is funded by The Georgia CNA Career Pathway Initiative. The purpose of this program is to support individuals while they complete their nurse aide training program and build their career working in a Georgia long-term care facility. The stipend can help with the cost of books, testing, child/elder care, travel, etc. All stipend eligibility milestones must be completed in sequence. Through their program, CNA is looking to award a $5,000 stipend that will be paid across three payments as an individual achieves the following milestones. Completing the Dream Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by the Sallie Mae Fund Inc. in parntership with Thurgood Marshall College Fund and is offering at least 260 gap scholarships to students whp are completing a two-year, four-year, or trade/vocational certificiate/certification program. Scholarship amount is up for $2,5000. Students who meet the following elibility requirements will be considered for this scholarship award; enrolled at an accredited post-secondary institution or in a continuous education program with their anticipated completion of postsecondary education program in AY 2023-2024, have an unpaid school balance up to $2,500, current cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher, a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551,  a candidate from an underserved community or a diverse candidate, which may include: gender, race, ability, or ethnicity. Students should also demonstrate leadership, and good moral character in all aspects of life, including personal, professional, educational, in your community, and online presence. DelightedCooking's Annual LGBTQ+ Awareness Scholarship:

This scholarship is funded by DelightedCooking.com and is looking to award $500 to students who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. This scholarship is open to all high school seniors, undergraduate students, or graduate students. Students should be a a current U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident to apply. East Georgia Regional Medical Center Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by Georgia Regional Medical Center and is looking to assist healthcare students with tuition, books, lab fees, state board exam, temporary permit and license costs in exchange for one year of full time work in exchange for every $5,000 granted. To qualify, students must complete scholarship application, hold college transcripts with a GPA of a 2.0 or above, proof of acceptance into a nursing school, submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher or employer, provide a copy of your background check, and submit a one page essay explaining why you should be awarded the scholarship. Ford Auto Tech Scholarship

Ford Fund and Ford Dealers welcome the next generation of auto technicians by awarding $5,000 tuition scholarships to students pursuing careers in auto and auto/diesel technology. This need-based scholarship is applied to a student’s school tuition account and may be used for all cost of attendance, including tuition, tools, living expenses and transportation. Applicants should meet the following eligbility requirements; be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or approved DACA status, enrolled future student -or- an active, current automotive or auto/diesel student at a post-secondary Institution in good standing, have a completed and approved FAFSA with an EFC under 40000 on file at campus. Ford Fund STEM Scholarship

The Ford Fund STEM Scholarship is for candidates, who are undergraduate students of color enrolled in STEM-related degree programs at accredited U.S. colleges and universities or two (2)- year colleges during the 2023-24 academic year. This scholarship is seeking to award up to $10,000. To qualify, students must meet the following eligibility requirements; possess a minimum GPA of 2.3, file a FAFSA form, demonstrate unmet financial need as verified by the college or university, be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States, a student of color, full time college junior or senior attending a four-year accredited institution or a full time student attending a two-year accredited institution or certification program. Funeral Service Scholarships

These scholarships are offered through the various funeral service professional associations and are available to any student enrolled in the funeral service program at OTC and who meets the following eligibility criteria: GPA of 3.0 or better; is affiliated with the professional association, and is nearing graduation. Gabe Jenks Memorial Scholarship

Addicted.org is looking to award a $1,000 scholarship to support higher education efforts while also bringing awareness to substance abuse. Scholarship applicants must be a full time college or university student who is at least 18 years old, and must submit a 1000-1500 word essay on the provided topic. Georgia Fiscal Managment Council - The Hinton Scholarship

The Georgia Fiscal Management Council (GFMC), through its scholarship program, will be awarding a cash scholarship to a full or part-time technical college student who is pursuing a course of study in a field related to Governmental Fiscal Management including Accounting, Banking and Finance or Business Management. To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must be pursuing a degree or certification in Accounting, Banking and Finance, or Business AdministrationThe scholarship is valued up to a maximum of $1,500. Gratitude Lodge Scholarship

This is a $1,000 scholarship to a college student who submitted a 500 word essay following this prompt: Explore the role of societal stigma in hindering individuals from seeking and receiving addiction treatment. Discuss strategies to reduce stigma and promote a more supportive environment for those struggling with addiction. The deadline will be August 30 2024, and the winner will be contacted on September 9, 2024. Essays can be sent to scholarships@gratitudelodge.com with the subject line: Gratitude Lodge Essay 2024. In addition to this the following will also need to be attached to the email: Picture of applicant’s ID and proof of applicant’s attendance at a University as of Fall 2024. Georgia Veterinary Medical Association Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association and is available to any student enrolled or accepted in the Veterinary Technology AAT program at OTC. In addition, the student must meet the following eligibility requirements: have completed VET 213 with a grade of C or better, maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and be enrolled full time. Two (2) $250 scholarships are available for the Fall quarter. Applications are available through the Veterinary Technology Program.

 

Innovation in Education Scholarship

This is an ongoing monthly scholarship that is looking to award $500 to students who showcase their creativity and make positive impacts. In order to be eligible to apply, students should be currently enrolled in high school or college, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (or the equivalent), and should be a citizen of, permanent resident of, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada. Jet Future Business Leaders Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by Jet Insurance Company and is looking to award high school seniors or current college students who are interested in pursuing business $1,000. To be eligible for this scholarship, the following requirements must be met; student must currently be attending or planning to attend college the upcoming semester, complete all sections of the application, and must submit a 250-500 word essay. This scholarship is funded by the Altrusa Club of Statesboro and is seeking to provide a $1,000 scholarship to assist an undergraduate female student who demonstrates financial need as well as integrity, academic success, and willingness to serve her community. To qualify, the recipient(s) must have completed a year of study, be enrolled as a full-time student, and have at least two more semesters of study left in an undergraduate program, and maintain a minimum of a 3.0 GPA fall semester of the award in order to be eligible to receive the scholarship spring semester. This $1,000 scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students who are passionate about film, art, and storytelling. This scholarship is an excellent opportunity for students from various disciplines to showcase their creativity and receive support for their educational journey, and is open to students currently enrolled at an accrredited university or college. This scholarship is funded by Pacific Training Medical and is looking to award $1,000 to the author of the winning essay, and complimentary access to courses for three runner ups. (Courses include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and Monitor Technician Certification.)  This scholarship is open to undergraduate, or graduate students currently enrolled in a healthcare degree program. The scholarship application is available on the first of April each year.

 

Public Service Scholarship

State Records is pleased to offer a $1,000 college scholarship for the 2024 academic year. The application period commences on September 1st, 2023, and concludes on September 1st, 2024. The PRINT IT Scholarship for Aspiring Content Creators

G.W. Networks Inc. is pleased to offer the PRINT IT Scholarship for Aspiring Content Creators to current college students. Students who are actively involved in the creation of unique and engaging video or audio content or wish to pursue it in the future. G.W. Networks Inc. will award one (1) scholarship of $1,000.00 USD to the student who is able to demonstrate their focus on storytelling via unique video or audio content. Students must submit a short video (5:00-10:00) that explains how their content will be engaging and tell a unique story. 1st Art Gallery Art & Design Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by 1st-art-gallery.com and is looking to award $1,000 to a student to help with the success in a career in art and or design. Applicants must meet the following requirements; must be a high school senior who has been accepted into a college, university, trade school, or design school, or a student currently enrolled in college, university, trade school, or design school. Your discipline is among the following: Arts - fine arts, music, performing arts on visual arts. Natural science - biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy or earth science. Social science - anthropology, economics, geography, political science, sociology or history. Or languages, linguistics, literature, mathematics. Philosophy, psychology or religious studies. Art students need to submit a piece of art that makes them proud.
