What is a FlexEd Term?

In addition to Fall, Spring, and Summer terms, Ogeechee Technical College offers general education and occupational/career courses in accelerated ‘minimesters’. These ten-week courses cover the same content as a regular semester and provide the same credit hours in this fast-track format.


How do I register for the FlexEd Term?

The enrollment process is the same for all terms.

  1. Apply online and pay the $25 application fee.

  2. Request high school (or equivalent) transcripts along with official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions you have attended.

  3. If needed, you can schedule placement testing by clicking here.

  4. Apply for financial aid. You may pick up forms and information on HOPE, PELL, VA or other financial aid at our Financial Aid Office or click here for additional information.

  5. Once accepted, you’ll visit with an advisor and register for classes.

Is Financial Aid Available?

Yes. Several financial aid options are available for the minimester. Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov as soon as possible.
