Chris Page is from Swainsboro, Georgia. He graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Minor in Finance. After a brief period in the finance industry, Chris took a job with the Statesboro Fire Department in 2011. In 2015, Chris earned his EMT license from Rescue Training in Savannah, Georgia, and began working at Emanuel County EMS and Screven County EMS. He went on to earn his Paramedic certification and licensure in 2016 while working both services. After obtaining his paramedic license, Chris started working at Bulloch County EMS where he continues to work part-time. Chris holds multiple instructor licenses including GA Level III Instructor, BLS, ACLS, and PALS Instructor, and he is an NAEMT Instructor for AMLS and PHTLS. Chris is an active member of GEMSA and NAEMT. Chris lives in Statesboro with his wife, Katie, and their two children, Wilt and Finley. In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors.
Laura Coleman
Paramedicine Technology Instructor
Laura Coleman is originally from New Philadelphia, Ohio and moved to North Georgia in 1996 to attend Toccoa Falls College where she received her Bachelor of Science in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication. While completing her bachelor’s degree, she joined the local rescue unit and after 9/11, also began volunteering with the Fire Department earning her Firefighter I certification from North Georgia Technical College in 2002 and then her EMT- Intermediate in 2007 while working full-time in social services. In 2013, she switched directions and started with the Forsyth County Fire Department in Cumming and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta while obtaining her Paramedic degree from Lenior Community College in North Carolina.
Laura serves as the Immediate Past President of the Georgia Public Safety Educators Association and works for multiple NASCAR tracks in the Southeast as a pit road firefighter and Paramedic. She has a Master of Public Health from Columbia Southern University. She is a volunteer firefighter with Bulloch County and holds multiple instructor licenses including Fire, POST, BLS, ACLS, PALS, Child Passenger Safety, and Stop the Bleed. She now lives in Brooklet with her husband of over 20 years James, and two teenage daughters Launie and Reyanne.
