Ogeechee Technical College Student Leaders Participate in 2024 Georgia Fall Leadership Conference

Ten student officers and advisors from Ogeechee Technical College’s SLC, NTHS, SkillsUSA, “Arpe Diem” (Cybersecurity), and FBLA Collegiate attended the 2024 Georgia Fall Leadership Conference in Atlanta, November 15-16. Themed “All Systems Go,” the event offered inspiring sessions and leadership training.
Highlights included sessions such as “Beneficial Differences” with Luis Castro, “Dare Yourself to Break the Glass Ceiling” with Lisa Rich-Milan, and keynote speaker Dr. Derrick Standifer’s “Life is Like a Rubik’s Cube.” Specialized workshops also provided training for various leadership roles.
Student officer Justin White shared, “I found the Leadership Conference to be beneficial due to hearing stories of success from people who share similar characteristics. Perseverance, humility, sacrifice, and dedication were common themes of the speakers at the Conference.”
