Adult Education at Ogeechee Tech

Empowering adult learners through personalized instruction, career pathways, and lifelong
learning opportunities.

Our Adult Education Program is designed for individuals 16 and older who are ready to build
foundational skills, earn a high school equivalency credential (GED® or HiSET®), or improve their
English language abilities. We offer flexible learning models including face-to-face, online,
virtual, and hybrid instruction to meet your unique needs and goals.

Our Core Programs

GED®/HiSET® Preparation
Reading, writing, math, science, and social studies instruction to help you earn your
high school equivalency diploma.

Adult Basic & Secondary Education
Skill-building in basic reading, math, grammar, and content-area literacy, from
foundational to high school level.

English as a Second Language (ESOL)
Free instruction for English language learners who want to improve their speaking,
listening, reading, and writing skills.

Skill Refresher Courses
Short-term instruction in specific subjects like fractions, grammar, or writing- for
students not pursuing a GED but needing targeted support.
