Scholarships
Various civic, professional, social, and other organizations provide scholarships for deserving students. In most cases, financial aid is awarded based upon academic performance, financial need, and availability of funds. Click here to view a list of available scholarships. HOPE Career Grant
The HOPE Career Grant, formerly known as the Strategic Industries Workforce Development Grant, is available to Zell/Hope Grant recipients enrolled in designated programs. For additional information please click here or contact the Financial Aid Office at 912.681.5500.
Private Loans
Private loans are available to students. In order to apply for a private loan, a student must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (www.fafsa.gov) and complete the application process with the lender. OTC will work with the following lenders.
Veteran Administration (VA Benefits)
Veteran's benefits are available to qualified veterans and dependents. Application information can be found here, Veteran's Benefits (GI Bill).

Vocational Rehabilitation
The Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) provides financial assistance to students who have physical or mental disabilities and who qualify for DRS services. Students should contact their local office of the Department of Human Resources for details.
Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA)
WIOA provides federal funding to assist with educational costs related to high-demand job training. Funding is available for training expenses and approved support services including books, uniforms, transportation, and childcare expenses. Eligibility is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the following:
Individual Eligibility:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Registered for Selective Service ( Males Born after December 31,1959)
- Earned a High School Diploma or GED
- Applied for HOPE Grant/Scholarship and Pell Grant through FAFSA for educational programs
- Maintain a full-time class schedule and a GPA of at least 2.5
