Welcome to the OTC Assessment Center!

The Assessment Center is here to meet the testing needs of our students by offering a variety of tests in a quiet and professional environment. Flexible scheduling allows students to select testing times to meet their needs.

The Assessment Center is open Monday — Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. For questions, please call 912.871.1693.

Exams

Ogeechee Technical College offers exams weekly for the Georiga Pest Control licensing.

Tests offered are the Commercial Applicators Exam ($45.00), Employee Registration Exam ($45.00) and the Certified Control Operator Exam ($45.00). Tests are conducted every Thursday. To register or check the testing schedule, go to www.gapestexam.com.

HiSet ExamBeginning October 2020, Georgia now offers both the HiSET® exam and GED test to qualifying individuals. Both tests allow you to earn your high school equivalency credential. The HiSET® exam is one of three tests (GED, HiSET, and TASC) U.S. states and territories use to measure high school equivalency (HSE) skills. Educational Testing Services (ETS) works closely with states to ensure the HiSET® exam closely reflects the skills of a high school graduate and to provide a fair, rigorous exam.

Pearson Vue is a leading provider of global computer-based testing solutions for information technology, academic, government, and professional testing programs. Ogeechee Technical College is an authorized testing center. Pearson Vue offers a large variety of tests but is the only provider of Cisco Exams.   Exams are by appointment only. Please be aware that there is a $65 testing fee each time you take the HESI.  You may call or stop by the business office to pay your fee.  Also, you can take the HESI Nursing Admissions Exam up to 6 times during the academic year, but you must wait at least 30 days between each attempt.

Students need to click the red button that says "SCHEDULE YOUR TEST TODAY" in order to schedule their exam at the OTC Assessment Center.

www.hesiinet.com - Please go to the testing website to create an account before you come to the Assessment Center to take the HESI exam.
The HESI testing site will assign you a user name. Your username will be sent to the email address you provided when you created your account. Check your email to receive your username. Now, go back to the HESI website login & create a password that you can easily remember. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU KNOW YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LOG INTO THE HESI EXAM WITHOUT THEM!  Please contact the Assessment Center if you have questions.

Schedule Your Test

Now you can schedule your tests on-line without going through the Admissions Office. Below you will find a lists of tests available for on-line registration. Simply click the “Schedule Your Test Today”  button and you will be directed to the registration page. Follow the directions to select your test and complete your registration form. You will receive an e-mail confirming the date and time of you scheduled test. You will be required to provide ID before being allowed to test.

  • POST Exam (There is a $25 fee for this exam. An application can obtained from the Assessment Center or Admissions.)

Notice: Ogeechee Technical College is not able to give test results over the phone. The Federal Education Rights Privacy Act (FERPA) requires results be given directly to the student or a designated representative of the student. The student must sign an Authorization to Release Information Form authorizing the designated persons to receive test scores.
