Student Organization Holds Fundraiser

The Student Chapter of the National Association of Veterinary Technology in America (SCNAVTA) chapter of Ogeechee Technical College recently held a car wash at Anderson’s General Store to raise funds to attend the Veterinary Medical Expo (VMX). The VMX Conference provides students with continuing education, the opportunity to network with other technician students, licensed technicians, and veterinarians, and job seeking opportunities. The students also visit the exhibit hall to learn the latest in technology, medicine, and veterinary professional software. The College’s SCNAVTA chapter is made up of students from the Veterinary Technology program. Ms. Billie Walker is the chapter advisor.
