35 Students Receive Pins in Paramedicine Technology Pinning Ceremony

Posted on Dec 17, 2025 at 13:31 PM

Thirty-five students in Ogeechee Technical College’s Paramedicine Technology program were recognized during the program’s annual pinning ceremony, held at 5 p.m. on Dec. 15 in the Joseph E. Kennedy Auditorium.

During the ceremony, Program Director Laura Coleman and Instructor Catherine Martin presented students with pins signifying the completion of their education and their official entry into the emergency medical services profession.

“This class set the standard for every class that follows,” said Coleman. “Their dedication, resilience, and teamwork reflect the very core of the emergency medical profession, and as they step into their careers, we know they will continue to lead the way in serving their communities.”

While the event celebrated the accomplishments of the graduating class, Coleman acknowledged the many individuals and organizations who supported the students along the way.

“Faculty, staff, preceptors, EMS agencies from Bulloch, Screven, Evans, and Candler counties, and East Georgia Regional Medical Center all played a vital role in shaping this class,” she said. “From nationally recognized educators like Catherine, to dedicated adjuncts, lab assistants, and mentors, it truly took a village to prepare these graduates for the challenges ahead.”
