Ogeechee Technical College (OTC) honored its Fall 2025 Medical Assisting graduates during a heartfelt pinning ceremony held on Wednesday, December 3 at 5:00 p.m. in the Joseph E. Kennedy Building Auditorium.

The event, attended by family, friends, faculty, and staff, recognized the students’ dedication, professionalism, and commitment to entering the healthcare field. During the ceremony each graduate received a custom Medical Assisting pin, symbolizing their entry into the profession and their readiness to serve.

Faculty members, Michelle Odom and Mallorie Morris, praised the graduates for their perseverance and excellence throughout the rigorous program.

“Our students have demonstrated hard work, resilience, and a true passion for patient care,” said Odom, Medical Assisting Program Director at OTC. “We are proud to celebrate their accomplishments and look forward to the positive impact they will make in healthcare settings across our service area.”

In addition to receiving their pins, the graduates recited the Medical Assisting Creed, affirming their commitment to ethical standards and high-quality patient care. The Fall 2025 graduates of OTC’s Medical Assisting program are now prepared to enter the workforce in physicians’ offices, clinics, and a variety of other ambulatory healthcare environments.

There were 8 graduates pinned in this year’s ceremony – Daniela Colunga, Aaliyah Hughes, Ashley Lariscy, Javionna McDonald, Danielle Sherrod, Charity Smith, Satin Williams, and Teasia Williams-Ortiz.
