Competitive Admissions Requirements:

Acceptance into the college does not guarantee selection into a desired competitive admission program.

To be considered for selection for a competitive admission program, a student must:

• Successfully complete all required pre-requisite courses (see letter of interest below)
  

• Complete the PSB (Psychological Services Bureau, Inc) or the TEAS aptitude exam

  • Click here for more information about the TEAS exam.
    

• Attend a Competitive Workshop session

  • Fall 2021 workshop sessions are listed below.

    Students will select the link on the day and time of the event. No registration required.

    • Monday, October 25 - 5:00 p.m.: Virtual - Rescheuled
    • Wednesday, October 27 - 5:00 p.m.: Virtual
    • Wednesday, November 10 - 4:00 p.m.: Student Success Lab
    • Monday, December 6 - 9:00 a.m.: Student Success Lab
    • Tuesday, December 7 - 2:00 p.m.: Virtual

Selections will be made within seven days from the deadline. All applicants will be notified by text and email of their acceptance or denial for admission into a competitive program.

Students applying to the Practical Nursing program who are currently employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant should speak to their advisor regarding the NAST course exemption process.
