Discher Received Diamond Award

Eileen Discher, Custodian in the Technology and Institutional Support Division at Ogeechee Technical College, was presented the Diamond Award at the Spring Faculty/Staff Meeting. The Diamond Award recognizes and honors an exceptional employee who goes the extra mile and exemplifies excellence in such things as customer service, innovation, improved efficiency, a positive attitude, teamwork, community service, and exemplary service to the College. Her nomination application read, “Eileen is always so friendly to everyone in Health Science North. She keeps our building in tiptop shape and always goes the extra mile. She is very deserving.” Charlie Collins, Director for Plant Operations, said, “Eileen is well deserving of this award. She is sincere and exhibits initiative to go above and beyond in her job.” Congratulations, Eileen!
