Funeral Service Student Awarded Scholarship

Bobby Williford, a Funeral Service Education student at Ogeechee Technical College, was recently awarded the 2019 Memorial Scholarship given by the Selected Educational Trust. “Bobby is very deserving of this scholarship,” stated Michele Rupar, Funeral Service Education program director. “He is an asset to his church, his funeral home and our student body here at OTC.” The scholarship will be used for tuition and associated educational expenses.
A father of three, Williford is employed with May & Smith Funeral Home and is an ordained bishop at Kendall Heights Church of God in Sandersville GA.
