Alumnus to speak at OTC commencement

Ogeechee Technical College Executive Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Ryan Foley, has announced that Jarvis R. Jordan will be the College’s keynote speaker at OTC’s commencement scheduled for May 16. The event will be held at Georgia Southern University’s Hanner Fieldhouse at 7:00 pm. Jordan works with GE Healthcare as a Project Manager for Surgical Visualization. He has enjoyed a successful career with GE Healthcare for more than 14 years, and is currently a registered Radiologic Technologist with over 20 years of experience. He earned his Radiologic Technologist certification at Ogeechee Technical College in 2000, and later pursued additional education, achieving a Bachelor of Science at the University of Saint Francis in Joliet, IL. Jordan has achieved multiple awards and accolades in his professional careers, including, from GE, the 2015 President’s Award, 2006 Clinician of the Year, and 2009 Landsteiner Award.
“We are excited to have an alumnus of Ogeechee Tech here to share his story, and to show our graduates you really can ‘go anywhere from here’,” stated Foley.
