Jarvis “JJ” Jordan, B.S., R.T.(R) ARRT, is a graduate of Ogeechee Technical College’s Radiologic Technology program. Currently, JJ works with GE Healthcare as their Clinical Imaging Specialist and Project Manager for Surgical Visualization Imaging.

JJ recently spoke to the Class of 2019, who recently completed their third semester of the Rad Tech program. He has visited the College on several occasions to speak to, and motivate, students. JJ knows the feelings of pressure to get into the program and stay all four semesters. He encouraged students to persevere because the results are very rewarding. He explained that Radiology is the foundation of the imaging modalities and opportunities after graduation.

JJ worked at Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton as a student radiographer during his time at OTC. After he was certified as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, he worked full-time until a traveling opportunity was presented to him. He worked for several years as a traveling radiographer across the country. GE clinical representatives were impressed with his work ethic and passion for his profession, and he has worked his way up with GE Healthcare and travels across the globe with the company. JJ spent some time answering questions from the students and provided them with his contact information.
