Ogeechee Tech Business Management Accumulates Over 200 Service Hours

Business Management students at Ogeechee Technical College accumulated roughly 200 service hours collectively while taking their Team Project course during this past Summer. 

The following organizations represent a sample of where students spent their time: Habitat for Humanity, Humane Society, ReTails Thrift Shop, Boys and Girls Club, FUMC Soup Kitchen, and McKenna Farms Therapy Services.  Course instructor, Alex Harris, stated that, “Embracing acts of selflessness is an essential initiative as the Business Management program strives to develop leaders that focus on purpose beyond personal gain.”     

Ogeechee Technical College (OTC) is a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia. OTC provides student‐centered academic and occupational programs and support services at the associate degree, diploma, and certificate levels. OTC utilizes traditional and distance education methodologies in state-of-the-art facilities while supporting adult education, continuing education, and customized business and industry workforce training.
