OTC Alumni Making a Difference for Local Youth at Beautcamp

OTC alumni, Angeline Huff, Evangeline Huff Watkins, and Ayesha Washington-Ward recently held the 2019 Beautcamp. This free week-long event brought awareness of potential job possibilities and provided educational outlets for aspiring young adults seeking a career in the field of cosmetology or Barbering. Camp members were taught the fundamentals of the industry and participated in hands-on activities. The members also attended a fieldtrip to OTC’s Cosmetology Salon. There, they were provided manicures, pedicures, facials, and more by the cosmetology students.
