Posted on Dec 10, 2018 at 15:16 PM

The Practical Nursing program at Ogeechee Technical College recently held a pinning ceremony at the College. Twenty-three students were presented pins, which signify completion of the program of study. Family and friends were on-hand to watch the students receive accolades for their achievements. A reception was held afterwards, which gave the graduating class an opportunity to celebrate with family, friends, and classmates. Students, Olivia Harrison and Ashley Buchan, gave the invocation and welcome respectively. Jared Orlosky led the class in the Nightingale Pledge and Kaylyn Clifton closed the ceremony.

The Practical Nursing program at Ogeechee Tech is dedicated to preparing qualified graduates of the program to become theoretically, clinically, ethically, legally safe practitioners who are committed to meeting the health care needs of the community. The Practical Nursing program is approved by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Practical Nursing.
