Staff and students from Ogeechee Technical College and Georgia Southern University brought learning to life Tuesday during STEM Night at Julia P. Bryant Elementary School. The event gave students at the school a taste of what's possible when you know about science and math.
Students learned about sublimation — the transition of a substance directly from the solid to the gas phase without passing through the liquid phase — along with building a sturdy structure, fossils and measurements.
STEM Night is designed to expose students to science, technology, engineering and mathematics, all while having fun.
