Student Leadership Council Sponsors Soup Kitchen

The Student Leadership Council (SLC) of Ogeechee Technical College recently sponsored the Statesboro Soup Kitchen at the First United Methodist Church in Statesboro. The participants cooked and served a hot lunch and dessert for more than 200 people. Ogeechee Tech volunteers assisting with the Soup Kitchen were from SLC, Student Affairs, Echocardiography, Accounting, Dental Assisting, Early Childhood Care and Education, Veterinary Technology, and the Student Veterans Association. Valentine’s Cards made by Ogeechee Tech students, faculty, and staff were given to soup kitchen recipients.
