Waits Appointed to Foundation Board

Barry Turner, Vice President for College Advancement at Ogeechee Technical College, recently announced the appointment of Grace Waits to the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Waits is the Executive Director of the Screven County Chamber of Commerce. She previously worked as the Executive Director of the United Way of Screven County. She and her husband have four children and attend Eastern Height Baptist Church in Statesboro where they work with middle school children and Waits interprets for the deaf. Waits said, “I look forward to being on the OTC Foundation Board and doing what I can to help raise money for furthering education.”
