Addicted.org is looking to award a $1,000 scholarship to support higher education efforts while also bringing awareness to substance abuse. Scholarship applicants must be a full time college or university student who is at least 18 years old, and must submit a 1000-1500 word essay on the provided topic. CAPS Student Parent Priority Group Childcare Scholarship

Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS) is providing child care scholarships to help low-income families pay for child care while the parent(s) work, attend school or training or participate in work related activities. To be eligible, family must belong to one of the Georgia's identified priority groups, meet income requirements, and participate in a state-approved activity. CNA Workforce Enhancement Stipend Program

This scholarship is funded by The Georgia CNA Career Pathway Initiative. The purpose of this program is to support individuals while they complete their nurse aide training program and build their career working in a Georgia long-term care facility. The stipend can help with the cost of books, testing, child/elder care, travel, etc. All stipend eligibility milestones must be completed in sequence. Through their program, CNA is looking to award a $5,000 stipend that will be paid across three payments as an individual achieves the following milestones. East Georgia Regional Medical Center Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by Georgia Regional Medical Center and is looking to assist healthcare students with tuition, books, lab fees, state board exam, temporary permit and license costs in exchange for one year of full time work in exchange for every $5,000 granted. To qualify, students must complete scholarship application, hold college transcripts with a GPA of a 2.0 or above, proof of acceptance into a nursing school, submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher or employer, provide a copy of your background check, and submit a one page essay explaining why you should be awarded the scholarship. Florin|Roebig Essay Contest Scholarship

This essay contest is funded by Florin and Roebig Trial Attorneys and is looking to award a total of $1,500 to three students who place first, second, and third place. Applicants should be 18 years of age or older, and enrolled full time in a secondary or post-secondary academic institution. Foreclosure.com Scholarship

This scholarship, funded by Foreclosure.com is looking to award a $4,000 and two $1,000 scholarships to three students who place first, second, and third in their essay contest. Funeral Service Scholarships

These scholarships are offered through the various funeral service professional associations and are available to any student enrolled in the funeral service program at OTC and who meets the following eligibility criteria: GPA of 3.0 or better; is affiliated with the professional association, and is nearing graduation. Georgia Veterinary Medical Association Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association and is available to any student enrolled or accepted in the Veterinary Technology AAT program at OTC. In addition, the student must meet the following eligibility requirements: have completed VET 213 with a grade of C or better, maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and be enrolled full time. Two (2) $250 scholarships are available for the Fall quarter. Applications are available through the Veterinary Technology Program.
 

Healthy Eating Scholarship

This scholarship is funded my Top Nutrition Coaching and is looking to award $500 to a student applicant who meets the following eligibility requirements: should be a high school senior, undergradiuate or graduate student, current U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident, and recognizes the importance of healthy eating habits. Home-security.com Clean Energy Scholarship Essay Contest

Home security is providing three scholarship prizes for the top three essay submissions; First place: $750, second place: $500, third place $250. The Jobtest.org (Realign, Inc.) Career Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship that’s open to all students on their journey to finding a fulfilling career. Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by Lockheed Martin and is looking to award $10,000 to 200 recipients studying engineering or computer science at a 4-year college or university. The scholarship is open to students who are a a U.S Citizen who demonstrate a financial need, are a high school senior with a 2.5 or above GPA OR a freshman or a sophomore undergraduate student with a 2.5 or above GPA, current or planned 4-year degree enrollment in the following majors: Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics, current or planned full-time attendance at an accredited U.S. four-year college or university, and/or interest in a paid internship with Lockheed Martin following their freshman, sophomore or junior year of college, other circumstances notwithstanding (note: the internship is not required to receive a scholarship, and scholarship recipients are not guaranteed an internship). Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by Lockheed Martin and is looking to award up to $5,000 to as many as 150 recipients.  Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered eligible; should be a U.S Citizen who is a high school senior or graduate, has not earned a bachelor’s degree prior to the 2023-2024 academic year, currently enrolled or planning to enroll full-time or part-time (minimum 6 credit hours) at one of the following types of accredited institutions: vocational-technical school, trade school, two-year community college, or state college, and/or  pursuing an associate’s degree, credit-bearing certificate, or an industry-recognized credential, in one of the fields of study below, with an anticipated completion date no earlier than December 2023 and no later than June 2026. Martha Tootle Cain Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by the Altrusa Club of Statesboro and is seeking to provide a $1,000 scholarship to assist an undergraduate female student who demonstrates financial need as well as integrity, academic success, and willingness to serve her community. To qualify, the recipient(s) must have completed a year of study, be enrolled as a full-time student, and have at least two more semesters of study left in an undergraduate program, and maintain a minimum of a 3.0 GPA fall semester of the award in order to be eligible to receive the scholarship spring semester. Pacific Medical Training Essay Contest Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by Pacific Training Medical and is looking to award $1,000 to the author of the winning essay, and complimentary access to courses for three runner ups. (Courses include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and Monitor Technician Certification.) This scholarship is open to undergraduate, or graduate students currently enrolled in a healthcare degree program. Professional Women of Statesboro Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by the Professional Women of Statesboro Association and is available to any female student enrolling or enrolled in a program of study at OTC. In addition, the student must meet the following eligibility requirements: maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and is a resident of Bulloch County. The scholarship application is available on the first of April each year. 
 

R3 Stem Cell Scholarship

This scholarship opportunity will offer a yearly scholarship award to one college-bound or currently-enrolled college student. In an effort to encourage continuing education and motivation for success, R3 Stem Cell will now make it a regular annual opportunity for one student each year to obtain this $1500 scholarship. Rick Middleton Scholarship

 This scholarship opportunity offers veteran students the chance to earn $1500 to go towards their education journey. Eligibility requirements are as follows;  a current student veteran, as proven by a DD214 having received an honorable discharge or in good standing with his/her branch of service, enrolled as a full-time degree seeking (undergraduate or graduate) student at an accredited GAVCO member school in the state of Georgia during the Spring 2023 semester, possess a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or above as evident by an official/unofficial college or university transcript, have completed a minimum of 15 semester credit hours towards degree attainment, and demonstrate a commitment to service, leadership, and engagement in their community. The Empaxis Scholarship for Women in Business

This scholarship is funded by Empaxis, and is looking to award $500 to four female college or college-bound students who are interested in pursuing a career in business and entrepreneurship. There is no minimum GPA or SAT/ACT requirement to apply. Applicants should reside in the United States but are not required to be U.S Citizens. The Law Offices of Daniel Kim Scholarship 

This scholarship is funded by the Law Offices of Daniel Kim and is looking to award $5,000 to one qualified student who is currently attending or are planning to attend college or graduate school. 1st Art Gallery Art & Design Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by 1st-art-gallery.com and is looking to award $1,000 to a student to help with the success in a career in art and or design. Applicants must meet the following requirements; must be a high school senior who has been accepted into a college, university, trade school, or design school, or a student currently enrolled in college, university, trade school, or design school. Your discipline is among the following: Arts - fine arts, music, performing arts on visual arts. Natural science - biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy or earth science. Social science - anthropology, economics, geography, political science, sociology or history. Or languages, linguistics, literature, mathematics. Philosophy, psychology or religious studies. Art students need to submit a piece of art that makes them proud. This can be any type of art submission, including (but not limited to) a painting, photograph, statue, song, animation, video, film, illustration, story, poem, or any other type of art. 5Estimates.com Scholarship

This scholarship is a bi-annual $1,000 scholarship opportunity is now open to students. No minimum GPA is required, domestic, international, and undocumented students may apply. This scholarship is open to ALL students, and studies in all fields are accepted. The upcoming deadline to apply is July 30, 2023, and the winner will be selected by August 10th, with the disbursement of awards by August 31st. A secondary award will be issued in January of 2024.
