21 DMS and Echocardiography Students Pinned in Fall Ceremony

Ogeechee Technical College (OTC) celebrated its Class of 2025 Sonography and Echocardiography graduates during a pinning ceremony held Monday, December 8, at 6 p.m. in the Joseph E. Kennedy Building Auditorium.
Kasey DeMott, RDMS, a 2016 OTC graduate who currently works with Ogeechee OB/GYN and Foundation Resources, delivered special remarks encouraging graduates as they begin their careers in the medical field.
During the ceremony there were 11 students in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program who received their pins for completing their program.
“Our 2025 DMS class represents a talented and dedicated cohort of future healthcare professionals who completed rigorous training and demonstrated outstanding achievement in their program,” said DMS instructor, April Amans, RDMS, RVT, RDCS.
In addition, 10 students from the Echocardiography program were pinned as part of the Class of 2025.
“The Echocardiography pinning ceremony was a meaningful celebration of a truly exceptional group of students,” said Echocardiography Instructor Sarah Singletary, RDCS. “Ten students were pinned; each having worked incredibly hard throughout the program while demonstrating dedication, perseverance, and professionalism every step of the way.”
All ten Echocardiography students are now Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (RDCS). Their success reflects their commitment to excellence and readiness to enter the healthcare field.
