Kathryn Finch Featured in 20 Under 40

Kathryn Finch Featured in 20 under 4020 Under 40 honors a group of outstanding professionals under the age of 40 who excel in their industry, are company leaders, and are good community citizens. Kathryn Finch, OTC's Director of Institutional Research & Planning, was recently awarded this honor.

Professional

Kathryn is a native of Byron, Ga., and resident of Screven County. As a Double Eagle, she holds a Bachelor in Health and Physical Education degree and Masters in Public Health degree from Georgia Southern University.

After gaining valuable work experience in public education and healthcare, Kathryn was ready to pursue her passion for higher education by accepting the position as director for Institutional Research and Planning position at Ogeechee Technical College. Kathryn is a Leadership Screven 2022 graduate. Aside from work, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her husband, Clint, and their daughter, Madison, 2. Kathryn and Clint value their community and regularly give back to local organizations, such as the Screven County Sheriff’s Department, Bulloch County Sheriff’s Department, and Portal Middle-High FFA.

Future

“I have been blessed with an amazing support system of family and friends. After teaching public school for two years, I knew my passion was in higher education. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing how technical education can impact a community and I’m honored to be able to use my gifts to help support Ogeechee Technical College and fuel tomorrow’s workforce.”
