Summer Fun Event Enriches the Student Experience

The Student Affairs department at Ogeechee Technical College hosts a variety of events each year to enrich the college experience for students. Beckie Snyder, Administrative Assistant to Vice President for Student Affairs, plays a strong hand in organizing and endorsing fun, safe, and fulfilling events. Beckie expressed the importance of gatherings like the recent Summer Fun Student Event, “These events are integral to the student experience as well as the success rate of graduation. Summer Fun was a strategic event focusing on stress relief for students taking night classes.” Summer Fun Student Event was held July 8th in the lobby of the Joseph E. Kennedy building. Students enjoyed freshly cooked food, cornhole, and reclining areas for socializing.
