Student Leadership Council (SLC)
The Student Leadership Council is an organization made up of representatives from all occupational programs at Ogeechee Technical College. Faculty can refer new representatives by submitting the Advisor Referral Form. Student Leadership Council meets monthly throughout each semester.
The primary purpose of SLC is to govern the Student Activity funds as directed by Technical College System of Georgia in a manner that promotes the general welfare of Ogeechee Technical College students and to provide a two-way communication link between the student body and the school’s administration.
Other purposes include:
- To promote student interest and participation in all student activities and/or functions.
- To create leadership and training opportunities for organizational members.
- To assist and support projects that will benefit the local community.

OTC Mission Statement
Ogeechee Technical College (OTC) is a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia serving Bulloch, Evans, and Screven counties. We are a public institution of higher education that contributes to the educational, economic, and personal growth of the individual and the communities we serve.
OTC provides studentācentered academic and occupational programs and support services at the associate degree, diploma, and certificate levels. We utilize traditional and distance education methodologies in state-of-the-art facilities while supporting adult education, continuing education, and customized business and industry workforce training.
