Priscilla Waters, MSHA, RHIT
Health Information Management Technology Program Director
Priscilla Waters is a Claxton native and now resides there with her family. She brings to OTC a diverse background comprised of both clinical and administrative experience. Mrs. Waters served in the US Navy from 1997-2003. At the end of her service, she returned to the Savannah area and completed her BS in Radiologic Sciences at Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2006. She has six years of clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist and three years as a Computed Tomography Technologist. She received her Master’s degree in Health Service Administration in 2011 also at Armstrong Atlantic State University. She is not a stranger to the campus of OTC having completed the MRI certificate program in 2007 and the AAS in Health Information Technology in 2012. She is also an inpatient-coder at Evans Memorial Hospital and brings with her this experience to add to the classroom.
Lisa Kagay, RHIA
Health Information Management Technology Program Instructor
Lisa Kagay grew up in Flushing, Michigan and received her Bachelor’s in Health Information Management from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. She received her Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential in 1994. She moved to Savannah, Georgia in 1993 where she worked for Memorial Health System in Health Information Management until 2000. In 2000 she began working as the Health Information Technology Program Director at Ogeechee Tech and received her MBA in 2003 from Georgia Southern University. Lisa and her husband moved to West Virginia in 2006, where she taught for Kaplan University and worked as a coder for Washington County Hospital. In 2008, her family moved back to Michigan where she has worked as a Utilization Review Manager and a Revenue Cycle Auditor for Ascension hospitals and Davenport University. In 2016, Lisa came back to work to Ogeechee Tech as a full time online instructor for Health Information Management Technology.
